Sanjay Punekar | Artist Statement & Bio
"Sanjay Punekar is a contemporary Indian visual artist whose work bridges the expressive power of abstraction with poetic insights drawn from nature and inner experience. Rooted in a lifelong engagement with natural rhythms, his paintings create contemplative spaces that engage both mind and emotion, drawing from the sensitive balance between chaos and calm.
With a career spanning over two decades, his practice explores abstract and semi-abstract expressions through an intuitive and layered visual language. A Master in Fine Art, his works have been exhibited at prestigious venues like Lalit Kala Academy and Taj Palace, and are part of esteemed international collections including the UNDP, ICCR, and various global embassies."
